I became a Graphic Design student at SAU Tech in 2011. In addition, I’m currently taking Film classes. I’ve worked in multimedia for over ten years, but I had hit a wall without a degree. So I came here ready to work. While still inside my first year, I was awarded a one-year paid internship contract with Lockheed-Martin as a Multimedia Production Assistant. In 2012, The World Championship Steak Cook-off used my design for their official T-shirt. I began working freelance shortly after; specializing in graphic design, photography, videography, and web design. In 2013, my photograph of a regional musician began to be used for the promotion of his single on iTunes. Over the summer of 2013, I partnered with another student to create The Mused Drama Company. Together, we run this student-led drama club on campus. Recently, I became the Advertising/Media Manager for a local business. Even more recently, as the Graphic Design Intern for SAU Tech, I designed the graphics used for the Multimedia Dept.’s website: techinspired.net. And I continue to work regularly, using the skills and connections I’ve gained here.
